Irrigation Best Practices

  • April 10, 2014

Earlier this year, the Irrigation Association (IA) and American Society of Irrigation Consultants (ASIC) released an updated Landscape Irrigation Best Practices.

According to Turf Design Magazine, the update is a collaboration between the IA and ASIC and reflects sound engineering practices, as well as emerging technologies, and efficient water use techniques.

The report includes input from irrigation professionals to ensure the best management practices remain relevant to today’s market, which is moving toward sustainability.

Air-O-Lator works with golf courses, parks and recreation departments, irrigation professionals, and others to keep ponds and lakes clean and healthy in order to be used for watering purposes.

For proper aeration, Air-O-Lator recommends that the aerator or fountain you have in place provides enough volume of water in the atmosphere to benefit or improve the oxygen levels and water quality.
