Description
Font`N-Aire Ready 1HP Fountain
The Font`N-Aire Ready 1HP fountain line has four major components:
FLOAT – constructed of rugged polyethylene molded plastic with UV inhibitors and filled with nonhygroscopic pressure molded polystyrene foam.
POWER DRIVE ASSEMBLY – mounting structure (drive structure assembly), pump/propeller, nozzle and motor.
The ELECTRICAL SERVICE CABLE ASSEMBLY includes a 100’ length of AWG# 12/4 submersible cable and a convenient submersible quick disconnect connector for plugging into the fountain.
The CONTROLS consist of a 24-hour time clock with off/on trippers, a Franklin Electric start and run QD capacitor box, and an inline ELCI ground fault protector. These components come prewired and mounted on a 16” x 14” plate. Air-O-Lator uses the Franklin Electric 600M submersible motor exclusively for all fountain lines. This motor is water-cooled, lubricated, and designed for lake and pond applications, ensuring environmental safety.
The CENTRIFUGAL PUMP DISPLAY FOUNTAIN has a unique center discharge pump design. It keeps the shaft and discharge vertical, concentrating the fountain’s weight in the float’s center. This design makes installation and removal easy without special brackets or hardware.
Furthermore, our centrifugal pump design produces high pressure. It creates impressive heights and displays while using less horsepower than other fountains. However, it’s important to note that this fountain is purely for aesthetics. The volume of water pumped into the air is not enough for oxygen transfer and doesn’t meet Air-O-Lator’s standards.
What makes the system unique?
The CENTRIFUGAL PUMP DISPLAY FOUNTAIN’s unique center discharge pump design keeps the shaft of the submersible motor and the discharge in a vertical position. This allows the entire weight of the fountain to remain in the center of the float. This also makes the fountain easy to install and remove from the float without special mounting brackets or hardware. Our centrifugal pump design produces high pressure, which creates terrific heights and displays using far less horsepower compared to other fountain equipment. This fountain should only be used for aesthetics because the volume of water being pumped into the air is not enough to be considered an aerating device by oxygen transfer testing and Outdoor Water Solutions standards.
A floating pond fountain is a beautiful addition to any pond. However, did you know that not all floating fountains are made the same? In other words, you have to choose a floating fountain that will work for your type of pond, lake, or any other water feature. Fountains can be made to aerate your waters or can also work as a simple compliment to your pond. You’ll be able to find a range of sizes and aeration power to accommodate the layout of your pond.
