Description
Aquarian Quantum 20HP Surface Aerator
The Aquarian Quantum 20HP Surface Aerator performs two essential functions actively:
– It actively creates a large continuous air/water interface to actively transfer atmospheric oxygen to the liquid being aerated.
– It actively mixes the liquid contents and actively keeps degradable solids in suspension.
The Aquarian Quantum actively produces a large volume of water, ranging from 3400 gpm for a five horsepower unit to 8300 rpm for a 20hp unit. The Quantum diffuser actively redirects the water column from the propeller to an omni-directional pattern. This pattern actively propels the water at right angles to the water surface, outward from the unit. As the redirected water flow actively moves through the air at a tremendous velocity, it actively adds oxygen at a substantial rate.
A sizable induced flow actively creates maximum directional flow and actively disperses aerated water within the treated basin.
Enjoy all-season performance with the Aquarian Quantum as it actively guarantees not to capsize due to ice or turbulence. With over 95% of the weight of the aerator actively located beneath the liquid surface, you can trust its stability and reliability.

Benefits of Aeration
Decreases Pond Muck
By infusing oxygen into your pond, you can effectively decrease pond muck, which is formed by a combination of decomposing debris, algae bloom, and fish waste. Proper aeration plays a crucial role in breaking down nutrients and maintaining a cleaner and healthier pond habitat.
Increases Oxygen Levels
Additionally, if you intend to have fish in your pond, it is essential to ensure sufficient oxygen levels. Without an aeration system, oxygen levels can decrease to a dangerous point for fish life. A well-designed aeration system helps prevent this issue and is equally beneficial for submerged plants.
As the bubbles from the aeration system or diffusers release into the water, oxygen levels increase significantly. This plentiful oxygen circulation allows water to flow throughout the entire lake or pond, promoting a healthier aquatic environment.
