Case Study: Fountain Helps Improve Downtown Newport

  • September 17, 2014

In Newport, Arkansas, an old well was transformed into a fountain with the help of Air-O-Lator. The well was discovered after an old building was razed. Led by Josh Brandt and Jarrod Eddington, the New Vision Newport Historic Preservation Action Team took steps to revitalize Downtown Newport. Brandt contacted Air-O-Lator after a referral and a custom application to fit the 125-year-old well was drawn up.

Air-O-Lator provided a substantial discount to help the New Vision Newport Historic Preservation Action Team meet its budget. Additionally, the fountain was installed at no charge in early July.

“Roy drew up a sketch by hand that was exactly what I was looking for,” Brandt said. “Roy and Peggy even drove down from Kansas City to install the fountain and make sure it worked properly. I would certainly use Air-O-Lator again in the future.”
