The Enterprise Aspirating Mixer provides an energy and cost efficient option for aerating and mixing wastewater. The engineers at Air-O-Lator designed the unit to yield more airflow, faster pumpage rate, and thrust. To successfully manage wastewater, an aspirating mixer must introduce and mix air into the water at a high volume in order to metabolize present aerobic microorganisms.
HOW IT WORKS
The Enterprise Aspirating Mixer uses a high-volume axial flow propeller pump design that operates within a close tolerance throat. The high volume of water that is propelled from the throat and forced through a scientifically designed venturi nozzle, more than doubles the velocity of the fluid pumped, causing a low pressure area to occur in the air intake. With tremendous force, the liquid and air converge at the venturi nozzle and air delivery tube and discharge as a homogenous mix of rapidly moving aerated liquid.
The aspirating mixer is guaranteed to not capsize due to ice or turbulence when properly installed. It is designed to be raised above the surface for inspection and removal, as well as lowered beneath the water surface to desired operating depth and angle.
